Deacon's Ministry
Our Goal is to be one of the most responsible, effective and respected Ministry within the Victory Tabernacle of Deliverance. To take ownership in supporting our church's Mission and Goals; “We are the voice and the hand that encourages people to change their lives with hope, comfort and peace."
Missions and Outreach
The Missionary Department is created for the purpose of aiding The Victory Tabernacle of Deliverance Church to perpetuate the works of the saints in the establishment of the early church; that is, to make an opportunity for missionaries to be helpers together with our Pastor and Ministers in bringing souls to Christ, and comfort to those in need; to visit the widows, orphans and sick, give Godly counsel in the fear of God, and teach the youth to be chaste keepers in obedience to the word of God, shunning the very appearance of evil, that the Gospel be not blasphemed.
Youth and Young Adult Ministry
“Train up children in the way that they should go, so that when they are old they will not depart”
Every aspect of the Ministry MUST be based on Biblical principles that will edify the body of Christ spiritually as well as emotionally.
It is the desire of the ministry to be an active participant in the maturation of our youth; to assist them through all walks if life. ie. Christian living, education, social
well-being and counseling (done by the Pastor, unless otherwise designated).
Worship Team
It is our belief at Victory Tabernacle of Deliverance that the Praise & Worship team is a vital part to the ministry of this body of believers. Members should view their function as ministers of the gospel through music and song. Those who serve on the Praise & Worship Team, therefore, should view their role as a calling from God.

Hospitality
We are to provide hospitality services to visitors and members on a weekly basis, and help facilitate the hospitality table at worship services, including the production of quality refreshments with an inviting atmosphere and an attitude of love and care. We are also to answer people's questions, have an up-to-date list of church resources and activities to give out, and help people find what they are looking for from worship services, small groups, Bible Studies, Sunday School classes, workshops, pastoral help and such.
Ministerial Staff
The Ministerial Staff should be expected to be part of a close team relationship with the Pastor and any other staff persons. Weekly staff meetings, staff retreats and the coordination of program planning and evaluation among staff leadership are
essential in overall staff leadership. This person will become part of a pastoral ministering team, knowing that this is the will of God for him or her at the present time.
